TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) -- Tehrani people will take part in the ceremony of “Nightly Charity” to be held on November 15, concurrent with the eve of martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali (AS), the Public Relations Office of the Association of Imam Ali announced on Thursday.

Students, athletes, artists and ordinary people donate one-month requirements of one thousand poor families, through a nightly excursion in the allies.

The ceremony is an imitation of what Imam Ali (AS) used to do centuries ago. The first Imam of Shias used to nightly contribute food among the poor families of his time.
